Submissions:
KINETIC ART WORKS IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW ART AND ARTISTS.
REVIEWING ARTWORK We review artworks by jpeg and slides. We review jpegs by disk or thumb drive. Please be sure to label the disks/drives and include a reference sheet with details of your work including name, size, medium, and price along with a bio, cover letter and statement about your work. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will return your disk or thumb drive. Website links can be emailed to submissions@kineticartworks.com
FRAMING
Appropriate framing is important. All artworks must be framed in good condition and ready to hang. Works on paper must be matted and framed. Prints, photographs and watercolors should be glass or high quality plexi-glass covered. Wrapped canvas works need not be framed. Be sure the edges are visually aesthetic. Canvas works must have durable hangers. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted. We will not accept any warped work, damaged or dirty framing, dirty or damaged mats, nor chipped glass. Quilts must have pre-sewn sleeves and hangers. If you do not have a framer you trust, we can recommend a quality framer.
SELECTED WORK
If your work is selected, we will make an appointment to see the artwork in person. Then we require a professional, high-quality jpeg or slide of each accepted work. Each artwork must be a signed, original from the artists. If it is a print or photograph, we require it be numbered and/or signed. We do not accept unnumbered prints. Work is assessed for its quality and originality. Our artists vary widely in terms of their age, education and experience.
